John Jacob Anderson

John Jacob Anderson, 71, from Fontanet, Indiana, passed away on April 10, 2024, with his loving family by his side.  He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on September 25, 1952, to Leo Paul Anderson and Anna Marie (Lynch) Stultz.  He graduated from Garfield High School in 1970.  John retired from Case as a Design Engineer after working there and relocating with them for 46 years.  He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle.  Most of all he enjoyed being a grandfather to his granddaughter Ellie. John is survived by his mother Anna Marie (Lynch) Stultz; son John Jacob Anderson Jr. (Kathy); granddaughter Ellie Anderson; siblings Annette (Anderson-Ball) Turner and Frank Stulz Jr. He was preceded in death by his father and siblings; Leona (Anderson) Thompson and Paula Kay (Stultz) Dowell.  Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2024, at Greiner Funeral Home at 1:00p.m.  Visitation will be at the funeral home that day, from 11:00a.m. until service time.  The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for the care and support John received.  If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society or Heart to Heart Hospice.
