Rebecca Dee Wey

Rebecca Dee Wey, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 28, 2024. Rebecca was
born to Frank Lewis Wey and Pauline June (Stewart) Wey (both deceased), and raised in Terre
Haute, where she lived in her well-loved family home by the railroad tracks, for much of her life.
She is survived by her younger brother, Frank Stewart Wey, Niece, Krystle Dawn (Wey) Moore,
(James), Grand-Nieces, Haylee Marie Dicus and Alyssa Faith Dicus, Grand-Nephew, Carson
Gregory Moore, and is also survived by her loving cat, Suzanna.
In addition, Rebecca would also like to include Daisha Eirhart-Whitehead, who was an excellent
caregiver, friend, and called a beloved niece.
She has chosen to not have a memorial service and in lieu of flowers, has asked that you
please donate to your favorite animal organization.
Lastly, Rebecca was a Jehovah's Witness, an active member of the North Terre Haute Kingdom
Hall, since she was 36 years old.
She says, “I will see you in Paradise. For me it’s a short nap, for you it’s just around the corner.
This time they punched my ticket to Paradise.”
