Albert Wild

Albert Wild, 94, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday July 20, 2019 in Providence Health Care. Albert was born July 4, 1925 in Terre Haute to Ludwig Wild and Bertha Herrmann Wild. Albert was the co-owner of Wild Farm Equipment in Terre Haute. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the US Army and was part of the second wave into Normandy. He was the recipient of three Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart.  He and his wife enjoyed square dancing, playing cards and bowling. He was a former member of the Sycamore Country Club.   He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ernest Wild and William Wild, a sister Louise Bauers, a great grandson Steven Randall , an infant son, Albert Michael Wild and his wife of over 73 years, Laura R. Brunic Wild who passed away December 26, 2018.  He is survived by one son, Steven Wild and his wife Bonnie of Sarasota, FL.  He is survived by two daughters; Andrea Goodwin of Marion, IL, and Mary Casey and her husband Jay of Terre Haute. He is survived by grandchildren; A.J. Turner and his wife Ann, Lori Wild, Kelly Trammel, Randy Wild and his wife Robin, Bill Turner and Katie Tanoos and her husband William. He is survived by great grandchildren; Brandon Trammel, Kendall Wild, Sarah Turner, Darian Trammel, Hannah Turner, Madison Russo, Michael Turner, Hudson Turner, Luke Wild, Jack Tanoos and Nora Tanoos and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.  at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN. 47804. Visitation will  from 11:00 a.m. until Service time at the funeral home.
