Alphus Marion Seward Jr., 72, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away August 14, 2018. He was born January 27, 1946 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Alphus Marion Seward Sr. and Mary (Schiver) Seward. Alphus was a member of the American Legion #104. He enjoyed camping and cars. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Wayne Seward. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Melva Seward; sons David Seward and Alan Seward; daughter Beverly Hester (Mike); 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 25, 2018, from 1:00pm. until 3:00p.m. at 1314 South 24th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47803. Pastor Mike Hester will officiate.
