Anthony L Halter

Anthony L.  “Tony” Halter, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away January 2, 2020 in his residence. Tony was born September 30, 1960 in Vincennes, IN to Robert Halter and Karen Kimmel Murray. He had formerly worked at Lenox Steel and Jadcore. He was a 1980 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School. Tony loved watching sports, especially Indiana related basketball and football. He enjoyed working in his yard with his sons, making people laugh and most importantly spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his parents, Karen Murray and Robert Halter. He is survived by two sons; John “Spike” Halter (Joanna Evans) and Casey Halter (Emma Burke). He is survived by two brothers; Chris Halter, Tim Halter and two sisters, Jayne Ginopolos and Amanda Kosto. He is survived by nieces; Sierra Halter and Kourtney Kosto and a nephew, Kash Kosto. He is survived by his best friend, Jeff Skirvin. A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday January 11, 2020 at the Torner Center located at Deming Park from 4:30pm - 10pm. Greiner Funeral Home were entrusted with arrangements.
