Barbara Taylor Nicoson Andis

Barbara Taylor Nicoson Andis, 84, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday February 25, 2019 at Signature Healthcare. She was born February 12, 1935 in Shirkieville, IN to Kenneth and Mary Dugger Taylor. She married Dean Nicoson on August 16, 1952 and they were married 55 years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dean Nicoson and Bob Andis, a son, Jeffrey Lee Nicoson and a grandson, Brian Jeffrey Nicoson. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Nicoson (Cherryl), Grandsons; David Nicoson (Becky) and Mike Nicoson (A.J.). Granddaughters; Katie Nicoson (Tyler) and Loretta Nicoson. Great Grandchildren; Taeya, Max, Emma, Addy, Abby, Nate, Ashley, Aerial, Alyssa, A.J., Josh, Sebastian, Emma, Caitlyn and Caleb. Great Great Grandchildren; Laihla, Sophia and Ozzy. Sisters Charlotte Shike and Loretta Lang (Roy). Sister in-laws; Nadine Nicoson and Caroline Nicoson, Brothers in laws; Barry Nicoson and Steve Nicoson. Also many nieces and nephews and friends whom lives she touched. She had many jobs including throughout her career including a secretary at Hulman Airport and running the Storage Center. She was a Queen of the Minnie Pearls Girls Red Hat Society. She also was a member of Beta Sigma Pi Laureate Gamma ETA Chapter. Services are scheduled for Monday March 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN. 47804. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Beta Sigma Pi will be conducting Memorial Services at 2:00 p.m.; Rev. Bernice Jackson will be officiating immediately following Beta Sigma Pi. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
