Betty J Norton

Betty J. Norton, 73, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday June 14, 2018 in Signature Health Care surrounded by her family. Betty was born May 12, 1945 in Terre Haute to Donald Franklin Cash Sr., and Carrie Lucille Henry Cash. She was a member of Higher Ground Christian Center. She was a C.N.A. for many years working at the Cannon Inn, Meadows Manor North and for the Wabash Valley visiting Nurses Association. She enjoyed writing poetry and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Radine Norton and three brothers; Donald Franklin Cash Jr., Samuel Arthur Cash Sr., and Jessie William Cash Sr. She is survived her husband, Ray Norton who he married February of 1966. She is survived by two sons; Donald Norton and his wife Judy of Terre Haute and David Norton and his wife Marcy also of Terre Haute. She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Bennett and her husband Jay of Terre Haute. She is survived by three sisters; Carol Ann Daub and her husband Robert of Terre Haute, Alice Evelyn England of Ohio and Shelia Rose Leach and her husband Ron of Brazil. She is survived by three grandsons; Michael J. Bennett and twin grandsons, Joseph and Matthew Bennett, all of Terre Haute. She is survived by several Nieces and Nephews. Services will be on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.  June 17, 2018 at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN., 47804. Visitation will be on Saturday June 16, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Faron Richard will be officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery.
