Bonnie H. (Butts) Sekerak

Bonnie H. (Butts) Sekerak, 75 of Terre Haute, Breast Cancer Survivor passed on January 10, 2020. She was born May 4, 1944 in Shawneetown, Illinois to James and Bonnie (Brooks) Butts.  She retired from Kroger as Assistant Manager of the Deli. She then opened her home to her grandchildren, including co-custody of great grandchild, Rahaja Page Beeler.  She was preceded in death by daughter, Mickey S. Lewis, and brothers, William and Donald Butts.  Survivors include brother, James Butts II, daughters, Bobbie Wilson (Danny Lewis) from the Jasonville area, Terri Pritchard (Geno Tanner) and Ginger Sekerak from Terre Haute. She has 9 grandchildren, Ronald Hayne Jr. (Aja), Larry Wilson (Adrienne) of Jasonville, Monica Lewis, Samantha Grycza (Jim Renfro), Millie East (Jeremy), Serena Cheeseman, all of Terre Haute, Christopher Pritchard from Crawfordsville, Brittany Tyler (Matt), Breana Pritchard both of Savannah, GA and 12 great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Services for Bonnie will be on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be from 11 am until service time on Wednesday. Private family visitation will begin at 10 am.  Burial will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery.
