Carol Lee Brashaber, 88, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on January 30, 2018 in Greencastle, Indiana. Funeral services for Carol are scheduled for 4:00p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Maple Avenue United Methodist Church, 1203 Maple Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana. Pastor David Rockhill will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday, from 2:00p.m. until service time. Her body will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park in Vigo County. Carol is a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was an active member of the women’s group. She married her husband Ralph in 1950 and was married for over 50 years before he passed away. She worked for Terre Haute Medical Lab from 1973-1993, and then continued to work as a volunteer for Union Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born at home in Clear Creek, Indiana to parents William Marion Pritchett and Gretna Fay Driskell. She and Ralph had four children, Bill Brashaber, Barry Brashaber, Beverly Stallings (Charles), and Theresa Underwood (Max). She had 5 grandchildren and 5 great granddaughters. Preceding her in death were grandson Erin Brashaber, along with her brothers Sylvan Pritchett, John Pritchett, and sister Vivian Calhound. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be given to Maple Avenue United Methodist Church.
