Christopher Richard Stephens

Christopher Richard Stephens, 40, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away August 21, 2018 in his home.  He was born April 6, 1978 in Terre Haute to Dale F. Stephens and Diane Marie Eblen Stephens.  Chris was a press operator at Columbian Warehouse.  Chris was the biggest Elvis fan. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and being outside.  He loved to barbecue for his family.  Chris was truly an amazing man, the kind of guy who never met a stranger.  He had a great sense of humor, and a contagious smile and laugh.  He is preceded in death by his father.  He is survived by the love of his life, Daniela, who he married on Dec. 19, 2015, mother, Diane Stephens, a step son, Jacob Bishop (Anika), step daughter, Alexus Bishop (Jeremiah), brother, Jack Sappingfield, granddaughter, Sarah, niece, Briana Sappingfield, uncle, Nick Eblen (Susan), and his two cat daughters, Zoey and Bella.  Cremation was chosen with services at a later date.  Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804, was entrusted with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Regions Bank Christopher Stephens Memorial Fund.
