Daniel Allen Downing, 42, of Terre Haute passed away November 16, 2019. He was born June 17, 1977 in Terre Haute to Robert Downing Sr. and Linda Sue Green Downing. Daniel grew up in West Terre Haute. He loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. He volunteered his time helping others change their lives for the better at the Salvaged Lives Center. Daniel loved his family very much.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a grandmother, Betty Green, a sister, Michelle Green, and a grandson, Caiden Holtsclaw. He is survived by his wife, Doris “Kathy” Downing (m. 6/11/2012), his ex-wife, Melissa Rosa, sons; Eric Holtsclaw, and Deavin Rogan, daughters; Bettie Sue Downing, Joanie Downing, Danielle Downing, Jordan Holtsclaw, and Elizabeth Holtsclaw, brother; Robert Downing Jr., grandchildren; Bennett, Mattylin, Isabel, and Dakota, 3 neices, and a nephew.

Daniel’s wishes were to be cremated with a celebration of life scheduled in the Church of Salvaged Lives at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
