Daniel Richard Kennedy

Daniel Richard Kennedy, 75, passed away April 15, 2018, in his home surrounded by family. He was born Jan. 1, 1943, in Vigo County, to Orval Kennedy and Goldie Smith Kennedy.  Daniel retired from the wastewater treatment plant after 25 years. 

He was a member of the sons of the American Legion. He loved to play euchre, and watch Chicago Bears football, and Indiana University basketball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Price Kennedy; sons, Daniel Kennedy and his wife Missy, Randy Kennedy, and Mark Porter; a daughter, Lisa Kennedy and her fiancé John Bickel, a sister, Phylis Mason (John), grandchildren; Sarah Higgins (David), Jesse Tevlin (Heather), Desiree Kennedy (James), and April Kennedy (Gage), Angela Brady and 16 great- grandchildren. 

Services for Daniel will be on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 6 p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., Terre Haute, Ind., 47804.  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
