Deborah S. Minger, 61, born December 26, 1956, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11:20 PM after a difficult and valiant fight against her battle with cancer. She was born to John Thompson Minger and Norma Jean Croll Minger in Terre Haute, IN. Debbie’s radiant spirit, sassy sparkle and zest for life touched many people. Her relentless tenacity and hard work was evident to many. She was generous with her time and willing to help many. Debbie had a great sense humor and a very fun side. Debbie worked at Sony DADC for almost 25 years. Most recently, she worked at Regional Hospital for the last several years. Prior to and sometimes in addition to those jobs, she worked waitressing at the Country Club and at Noble Romans and helping out with many other jobs where needed. She was preceded in death by her father in 1977 and her eldest sister, Peggy Grinley, in 2008, and two special dogs, Buddy and Blue. Debbie is survived by her son, Daniel Minger and his girlfriend Carly Ramey, grand-dog Yeti, a beloved cat, BW (Black & White), her mother, Norma Minger, her sister, Sally Boaz and husband Sam, her brother, Jimmy Minger and wife Robin, her nephew, Jason Grinley and wife Denise, her niece, Michelle Kerr, her nephew, Michael Boaz and wife Jesika Gunter Boaz, her great nieces Zuri and Fiona Boaz and many cousins. Visitation will be held at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804 Saturday, May 19 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a service at 2:00 PM.
