Freida "Ann" Annette Haskett

Freida Annette Haskett “Ann”, 84, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away September 16, 2018.  She was born October 29, 1933 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Charles Raymond Short and Mary Ellen (Daugherty) Short.  Ann was a hairdresser for 57 years.  She ran her own beauty shop out of her home.  She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and Sycamore Club.  She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, camping at Sullivan Lake, and attending all of her great grandchildren’s activities.  Ann was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Haskett in 2001, her parents, and siblings Arthur Short, Norman Short, Juanita Rowe, Ruth Short, Florence Short, Betty Short, Alice King, and Robert Short.  She is survived by her son Barry Haskett of Terre Haute, IN; daughter Jan Drumb (Jack) of Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren Crystal Moore (James), Tiffany Haskett, Aaron Haskett, Brett Van Hook (Nicole), and Brittany Van Hook; great grandchildren Brock Van Hook, Bowen Van Hook, Hayli Hopkins, Keaton Moore, Collin Moore, Baylor Haskett, and Madelynn Van Hook; siblings Margaret Moon and Wilma Corbis; and many nieces and nephews.   Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 11:00a.m.  in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.  Pastor Dick Dragon will officiate.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m.. Cremation will be scheduled after services.   The family suggests that in lieu of cut flowers, live plants are requested so that her grandchildren and great grandchildren can watch the plants grow.  Online condolences may be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
