Georgia Jo Turner

Georgia Jo Turner, 72, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away June 30, 2019.  She was born on November 17, 1946, in Port Heron, Michigan to Joseph Beasley and Evelyn Clair (Weddle) Beasley.  Georgia owned and operated Scorpio Hair Salon for 15+ years in Terre Haute. She was a '64 graduate of Wiley High School and held membership at Cornerstone Bible Church. Georgia was was a loving wife and mother.  Georgia was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steven R. Turner; children Shane Turner, Dustin Turner, and Bo Turner; grandchildren Taylor Turner, Mason Turner, and Jaxton Turner; and siblings Joyce Durrant, Donna Thompson, and Joel Beasley.  Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.  Pastor Daniel Bryan will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11:00a.m. until service time.  If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society.  Online condolences may be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com .
