Harold Duane Lloyd, 83, passed away at 6:19 pm on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Union Hospital. Harold was an Air Force Veteran, having served in the Korean War, working as a boom operator, refueling planes mid-air. Harold spent his last years working as construction superintendent for CDI, as well as, owning and operating, along side his family, the former H&L Seacove Restaurant in Jasonville. Harold and his wife, Mildred, also worked at Shady Lane Antiques. Harold was born on January 29, 1935, in North Terre Haute, to Harold Otis Lloyd and Opal (McMillan) Lloyd. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Allen, as well as several sisters. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mildred (Davenport) Lloyd, his son Curtis (Jackie) Lloyd of Shelburn, Daughters Rosetta (Ray) Howard of Blackhawk, and Brenda Edwards of Terre Haute, a brother Paul Lloyd of Kentucky, sister Jeanie House of North Terre Haute, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as, several other close family and friends. Harold enjoyed the outdoors, he especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting. Services will be held Friday, February 9, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Greiner Funeral Home, with Pastor David Smith Officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to time of services. Burial, with military honors, will be held following services, at Durham cemetary in Southern Vigo County. Family request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
