Joesph "Joe" Roscoe Davidson III

Joseph R. Davidson, III “Joe” 53, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.  He was born August 19th, 1965 in Brazil, Indiana to Joseph R. Davidson and Carol Sue Case.  He worked at Laborers’ International Union, Local 204, Terre Haute, Indiana.  

In 2008 Joe graduated from Indiana State University with an Associate’s degree in Psychology and earned a certificate in Agricultural Mechanics.

He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, mushroom and ginseng hunting.  He was preceded in death by his brother Jeff, his stepmother Pat, and his stepfather C.S.

He is survived by his mother Carol Sue Case (Bradenton Fl), father Joseph Roscoe Davidson, II (Reelsville), son Joseph Roscoe Davidson, IV (Terre Haute), daughter Sara Mae Rose(Sandy) (Terre Haute), devoted partner Amber Carey and her children Jackson, Mitchell, Sydnee and Jordyn, Amber’s mother Patty (West Terre Haute). Also, his brother, Steve (Debbie) of Land O’Lakes, Fl, brother Jerry (Melinda) of Dade City, Fl, sister, Gina (David) of Illinois, nephew Mark Edmonson (Paula), of Lewis, nephew Jason Lawhorn, Brazil.  3 nieces, 6 nephews and a large extended family.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804 at 1 pm.  A visitation is scheduled from 11 am until service time. There will be a celebration of life gathering immediately after the service at the VFW 1111 Veterans Square, Terre Haute, IN.
