Kathy Ann Melvin

Kathy Ann Melvin, 43, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away February 13, 2019, unexpectedly in her home.  She was born on July 17, 1975, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Linda Sue Southard (Ellinger) and Phillip Jenkins.  Kathy attended Full Gospel Assembly of God Church.  She loved animals, especially her own. Kathy was an outgoing and loving wife, daughter, sister, niece, and aunt.  She touched the lives of so many, and will forever be missed dearly.  Kathy was preceded in death by her father and stepfather, Raymond Southard, and two babies that she will now get to join in heaven.  She is survived by her mother Linda Sue Southard; husband David Melvin; son Xavier Melvin; grandmother Betty Ellinger;  sisters Alpha Jenkins, Mary Jenkins, and Phyllis Jenkins; niece and nephews Linda Blair, Delorean Blair, Shane Cutter, Austin Melville, and Devin Phillips; great niece Payton Melville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, February 18, 2019 at 4:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.  Jared Parks will officiate.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, from 2:00p.m. until service time.
