Larry L Cruse

Larry Leon Cruse, 75, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away January 25, 2018.  He was born October 15, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Joseph E Cruse Sr. and Ada L (Baker) Cruse.  Larry graduated from Garfield High School in 1960 and attended Indiana State.  Larry served in the United States Air Force.  He retired from United States Postal Service as Director of Operations in 1992 and was blessed to enjoy a long retirement. Larry was a member of American Legion #104 and Marine Corp League.  He was an avid golfer, achieving 3 hole-in-ones, and he enjoyed traveling.He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Jennifer (Jones) Cruse; children Greg Cruse (Shari), Cheryl Hoesman (Donald), Brent Cruse, Jamie Bozarth (Walter Webster); grandchildren Justin Hamilton, Rachel Hamilton, Tim Deremiah, Clint Hoesman, Curt Hoesman, Holly Marie Cruse Shepherd, Kaylin Brian, Lacie Audi, Cassie Bozarth, and Chance Webster; several great grandchildren, including "Poppy's" very special buddy, Ryderr; and siblings Joseph Cruse Jr. and Carolyn Hall.  Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 29, 2018 at 4:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804.  Pastor Chris Wilber will officiate.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, from 1:00p.m. until service time.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com.
