Marilyn Morris, 76, of Terre Haute, passed away March 1, 2019. Marilyn was born October 15, 1942 in Terre Haute to Hughey Joseph and Mary Long Joseph. She retired from Terre Town Elementary School as a Teaching Assistant after over 35 years of service. Marilyn loved to play cards and enjoyed games of chance. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Morris who passed away January of 2005. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Bovenschen. She is survived by one daughter, Tracy Wineman and her husband Anton of St. Peters, MO, she is also survived by a son, Clint Morris and his wife Becky of Indianapolis. She is survived by two brothers; Kenny Joseph and his wife Judy of Terre Haute and Doug Joseph of Ohio. She is survived by four sisters; Sharon Dalton of Melbourn, Fl., Carolyn Nicoson of Terre Haute, Nancy Kaifesh and her husband Cary of Carson City, NV., and Debbie Rainbolt and her husband Ray of Terre Haute. She is survived by grandchildren; Beth Morris, Matt Morris, Nikki Wineman and Hannah Wineman as well as several Nieces and Nephews. Services are Saturday March 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Pastor Jeff Lee will be officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. That family suggests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
