Mark Alan Coombes

Mark Alan Coombes, 62, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away October 9, 2019.  He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on October 5, 1957, to Maurice Coombes and Betty (Davis) Coombes.  Mark graduated from Terre Haute North High School. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Lyford.  Mark worked at Union Hospital for 27 years as a Film Coordinator, and then went on to work at Walmart East for 11 years.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, WWII history, and most of all he loved and enjoyed being with his family.  Mark is survived by his wife of 36 years Trina (Adams) Coombes; daughter and son-in-law Brandon and Amanda Donham; siblings Scott Coombes (Donna), Glen Coombes, Gloria Ball, and Barbara Austin (Raymond); mother-in-law Shirley Adams; brothers and sister-in-law’s Maggie and Clarence Kennedy, Claudia and Mike Halbmier, Diana and Scott Denbrook, Mary and George Vandeventer, and Janet Adams; and several nieces and nephews.  Mark was preceded in death by niece Becky Coombes and Nephew John Ball.  Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2019, in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.  Scott Coombes will officiate.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, from 12:00p.m. until service time.  Online condolences may be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
