Mary Ellen Dube, 67, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, September 12, in her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born October 8, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Dube and Norma Czajkowski.
Mary retired from Columbia House, then spent time working at Wabash Valley Health Center. In the last several years, she was an active member of The Bridge Church and devoted countless hours volunteering at several community outreach, charity and youth organizations. She was a bingo aficionado and we’re pretty certain she was the scratch-off ticket state champion. She was a 1968 graduate of Chadsey High School and a member of the swimming and diving team, in Detroit, and studied at Indiana State University.
She is survived by her brother, Mike Czajkowski, nieces, Debbie Moyer Virostko (Steve) of Rosedale, Wendy Moyer Napier of Kalamazoo, MI, Denise Moyer Stone (Bob) of Terre Haute, Dawnn Moyer Askren (Larry) of Bloomington and Darcey Moyer Perin (Jon Van Vliet), of Indianapolis, and nephews Thom Moyer (Nicole) of Terre Haute, Bobby Dube (Wendy) of Tavernier, Florida, Mark Dube (Frankie) of Homestead, Florida and John Mason (Annette) of Davison, Michigan. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, Robby (Mandy), Nicole, Bobby (Elise), Ali (Trent), Misty, Stormi, Keagan (Ashley), Kelsey (Samantha), Sam, Matthew and Natalie; and several great great nieces and nephews, Peyton, Landon, Aubree, Annabelle, Owen, Hailey May, Willow, Lorelei, Zoey, Hudson, Logan, Alyssa, RJ, David, Haylee, Jon and Breanna.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bob Dube, her sister, Shirley Moyer, and great great niece Cassie Kelley.
