Nora Mae Coleman, 96, of Terre Haute passed away March 4, 2018. She was born May 26, 1921 in Marissa, Illinois the daughter of Charles Levi Mifflin and Leafy Mae Jones Mifflin, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Earl Coleman, Step father, Oscar Tanner, sister, Dorothy Parker, half sister, Alberta Parker, and nephew John Parker. Survivors are her son, Gene Mezoe and his wife Norma of Sandborn, daughter, Barbara Hulley and her husband Chet of Terre Haute, granddaughter, Brenda Bemis, grandsons; Kenneth Mann and Donald Mann, great grandsons, Ryan Mann (Jena) and Dustin Bemis (Jessica), and great great grandchildren; Sierra and Gabriel. Nora retired as a seamstress after working several years at Theodore Rich Sewing Factory. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, picking berries, gardening, canning, picking wild greens, cooking, baking pies, playing cards and Yahtzee, and traveling with her aunt Nettie and friend Vickie.
Services for Nora are scheduled for Thursday March 8, 2018 at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation is scheduled from 11 am until service time at the funeral home Thursday. Burial will be in Summit Lawn Cemetery. Reverend Larry Spear will officiate.
