Rebecca Sue “Becky” Smith, 68, of Terre Haute passed away February 24, 2018 at 8:05 am in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born November 16, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to William Wayne Drinkard and Lois Wanda Pierce Drinkard.  She worked at Inmed corp. in Sullivan for 15 years, then Sony DADC for 18 years as Quality Control inspector. She then went back to school and graduated Summa Cum Laude at Kaplan University, with a bachelor’s degree in applied science in criminal justice.  She loved fishing and was a friend to all animals. Becky did her best taking care of her family.  She loved to travel, and went several times to West Virginia, Florida, and Ohio. “Mom loved a good road trip.” Becky is preceded in death by her parents, and twin brothers; Donald and Dennis Drinkard.  She is survived by her husband Ronald Smith whom she married July 3, 1971, a son, Matthew Alan Smith and his wife Dawn, a brother, Edward Wayne Drinkard and his wife Pam, a sister, Nancy Hayes and her husband Charles, two sisters-in-law, Billie and Brenda Drinkard.  Two grandchildren, Anna Smith and Heather Smith, along with several nieces and nephews.  Cremation was chosen with private services, Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13thStreet, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804 was entrusted with arrangements.  Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfueneralhome.com
