Richard Charles Hanley

Richard Charles Hanley, 86, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away July 17, 2019.  He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to Albert Hanley and Clara (Cullivan) Hanley.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Richard retired from the Parks Department for the City of Terre Haute.  He served in the Korean War in the United States Army.  Richard was member of the American Legion #104 and VFW #972. He was an avid ISU basketball fan.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia (Carver) Hanley; children Jennifer Pfister, Heather Hatke (Taylor), Jimmy Hallett, Toney Hallett, and Kim Hallett; grandchildren Gavin Hallett, Noah Pfister, Eleanor Pfister, Oliver Hatke, and Henry Hatke; and sister Jean Chapelle.  Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, July 22, 2019, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, from 11:00a.m. until service time.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
