Richard D Wallace Jr.

Richard D Wallace Jr., 62, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away May 25, 2018.  He was born March 20, 1956, in Clinton, Indiana to Richard Wallace Sr. and Grace (Wills) Wallace.  Richard retired from the Terre Haute Police Department after 37 years of service.  He served in the United States Army.  Richard was a member of FOP.  He enjoyed camping, traveling, dumpster diving, music, his kids, and his wife.  Richard is survived by his wife Barbara (Ghindes) Wallace; children Timothy D. Wallace (Dusti), Richard D. Wallace III (Natalie), Jennifer L. McMonagle, Ashley N. Heubel (George), Lucas B. Wallace (TeNeal), Christina Sparks (Brent), Jami Bloedow (Jim), Heather Atterson (Chad), and Kati Jo Snavely (Deric); 21 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Timothy Wayne Wallace (Elizabeth) and Robert D. Wallace (Laury); and his dog Sandy. He is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 babies waiting on him in heaven, his grandson Treaver Keen and his great grandson Jakob Keen.  Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at 10:30a.m. at Cross Tabernacle Church, 2929 N 7th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.  Rev. Dan Walls will officiate.  Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Immediately following services on Wednesday, there will be a procession to Roselawn Memorial Park, where Terre Haute Police Department will provide honors.   Cremation has been chosen, and a burial of cremains will be scheduled at a later time in Rolselawn Memorial Park.
