Robert Alan “Bob” Harvey Sr., 81 passed away March 12, 2018 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital after being diagnosed with Leukemia 3 ½ years ago. He was born December 29, 1936 in Jasonville, Indiana to Curtis E Harvey and Mary Thelma Field Harvey. Bob was currently attending Union Christian Church and a former member of Maplewood Christian Church in Terre Haute. He was a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War. His work career spanned over 60 years including employers Commercial Solvents, Mineweld/Airco and Terre Haute Country Club. He was a long time member of leagues at both the Terre Haute Bowling Center and Imperial Lanes. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, and when he was younger to hunt and fish. He also loved motorcycles and was a member of the Harley Davidson “Hog” group. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; George D. Harvey, Curtis W. Harvey, Donald J. Harvey, and Carl S. Harvey. He is survived by two sons; Alan Harvey and his wife Terry, and Brad Harvey and his wife Tammie, a daughter, Sheila Newhart and her husband Erik, four grandchildren: Bradley Harvey Jr., Yuda Harvey, Jackson Newhart, Moriah Harvey and a special friend Judy Quinn.
