Sandra Kay Mills Wilford, 72, of Terre Haute passed over to be with God on July 22, 2019. She was born November 20, 1946 in Terre Haute to Ellis “Big Shoe” Mills and Gladys DeBow Mills. Sandra earned her nursing degree RN from Indiana State University. Sandra worked at Union Hospital of Terre Haute as a nurse/case manager for many years, where she never met a stranger. She would go above and beyond to help those patients in the hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: James Mills, Bessie Rose, Corrie McGoffney, Marcia Jackson, and Garry Mills. She is survived by her daughter, Megan Bara (Ronald), siblings, George Mills (Selma), Dawn Mills, Candace Mills, Hiawatha Worrell (Michael) and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and friends. In honoring Sandra wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services are scheduled at this time.
