Saradah Elizabeth "Liz" (Shelburne) Voll

Saradah Elizabeth “Liz” Voll, 97, of Terre Haute passed away March 24, 2018 in the Cannon Inn.  She was born April 29, 1920 to James R. Shelburne and Hertha Sipes Shelburne.  She retired from CBS after working many years.  She was a graduate of Otter Creek High School. She was a member and past president of the Home Ec clubs in Terre Haute.  She also was an avid bowler.  She loved to swim at the YWCA, and traveled with Turner Coaches as a “Turner Bee.” She also enjoyed needle point and flowers.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Voll, a sister, Rosemary Kelley, and a grandson, John Allen Merritt.  She is survived by a daughter, Sue Merritt and her husband Tom, grandchildren; Mark Merritt and his wife Kristin, Tracy Coleman and her husband Gary, and George Merritt and his wife Laura, great grandchildren, Connor Coleman, Madason Merritt, Zane Merritt, Kassandra Merritt, Zander Merritt, Morgan Merritt, and Karolyn Merritt, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Liz will be Wednesday March 28, 2018 in Roselawn Memorial Park at 11:30 am, with a visitation from 11 am until service time .  Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804 was entrusted with arrangements.
