Sarah “Sally” Duke Haley, 88, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday November 9, 2018 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Sally was born in Terre Haute to Harry Due and Gennie Orr Duke on September 25, 1930. She was a long time member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and had retired from Columbia Records. She was a member of the Kith and Kin Club and VFW Post 972 Auxiliary, as well as the Ladies Optimist. She also enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends at church. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Vermont Patterson and Martha Ramer, and brothers Harry Duke and Kenneth Duke and her husband Donald L. Haley who passed away April 5, 2014. She is survived by one daughter, Martha Tabor of Terre Haute, two sons; Donald Kenneth Haley and his wife Deah of Terre Haute and Duke Clayton Haley and his wife Amanda of Seminole, OK. She is survived by eleven grandchildren; Spencer Haley, Isac Haley, Crystal Tingley, Jack Coale, Evan Coale, Lauran Kanengiser, Brook Thomas, Coty Gaskins, Haley Bailey, Klein Haley and Brody Haley. Survivors include eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN., 47804. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. Sunday also at the Funeral Home. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, 16362 North 2300th Street, Chrisman, IL. 61924.
