Shawn Michael Rose

Shawn Michael Rose, 45, of Terre Haute, Indiana, fought bravely and passed away from cancer on December 16, 2019.  He was born December 8, 1974, in Bothell Washington.  He graduated from Bothell High School in 1992 and attended Edmonds Community College in Seattle Washington.  Shawn really liked competing in Football, Wrestling, and Martial Arts which he did throughout his younger years.  Shawn occasionally helped coach the Prodigy Wrestling Team here in Terre Haute.  He enjoyed traveling and lived in several different cities including Guam, Alaska, Chicago, and Northern California, to name a few, before he married in 2003, and moved to Terre Haute, Indiana.  Shawn was a wiz as a finance manager and worked at Auto house Superstore for many years.  In his free time he appreciated a good game of golf.  Shawn could always be found in his yard working all day to keep it looking immaculate.  On Sundays he would attend World Gospel Church with his family.  Growing up in Seattle, Washington, Shawn enjoyed the outdoors.  He was an avid snow skier as well as snowboarding, He also adored fishing and hiking. Shawn loved his two children and would often take them to Turkey Run State Park.  His children’s academics and sports activities were of great importance.  Shawn is survived by his parents, Arland and Sharon Rose of Sequim, Washington; two brothers Jeff Rose of Bothell, Washington and Scott Rose of Bothell Washington.  Shawn has two children, Ava Leigh Rose and Alex Michael Rose, and his ex-wife Treva Lee Rose of Terre Haute. A memorial service will take place on January 12, 2020, at 3:00p.m., at World  Gospel Church in Terre Haute, Indiana.  If friends so desire, cards can be written to Ava and Alex Rose, 463 S 24th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47803.
