Shirley Ruth Monninger

Shirley Ruth Monninger, 92, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away April 10, 2018.  She was born February 7, 1926 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Charles and May Thrasher.  Shirley was a member of Grandmothers Club, TOPS, and Bunko Club.  She loved to cook, bake, and feed her family.  Shirley was a classy woman, who loved fashion.  She was loved by all. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Don Monninger; son Mike Monninger; and brother Charles Thrasher.  She is survived by her daughters Kay Casey (Mike), Susan Nicoson (Terry), and Jan Sereno (Mike); grandchildren John Roshel (Jamie), Jim Roshel (Susan), Angie Conwell (Tyson), Mike Monninger (Marsha), Amy Powers (Jon), Terry Nicoson (Tina), Nikki Carter (Jeremy), Bryon Nicoson (Lorie), Melissa McKinney (Luke), Andy Sereno (Brandi), Brandon Sereno (Amanda), Casey Sereno (Ashley), Kylee Sereno (Jessee); 27 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.  Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.
