He is also proceeded by grand parents Arthur and Myrtle Buis, and Burrell Judson and Mary Judson Hubbard and Al Hubbard. Boozie was a brick mason by trade and owned his own business for awhile. He loved working with his hands and so as he became ill he would collect "trinkets and such" and most all of his Pal's have a special treasure he has made for them. Steve is survived by four children and 12 grand children that he loved with all his heart. His son Jesse Buis (Megan) and children JD Buis, Austyn Buis, Mahailee Garrett. His daughter, Brooke Van Hook (Jon) and children Gavin Shorter, Zaiden Williams, Paxton Van Hook, Mya Kenley  His son Virgil Buis (Jessica) and children Brysen Whitehead Buis, Traven Buis, Avery Buis, Veighla Buis. His daughter Nikki Buis and children Jaylee Pair, Lil Eddy Pair and Nikkis mon and Boozie's Pal Tracy Buis. He is also survived by 1 sister and 2 brothers. Carolee Buis and daughter Terri Jo Wood Livingston (Ronnie) His brother Terry Buis (Brenda) and children Nate Buis (Dawn), Carissa Abney (Dewey), Krystle (Heather), Ashley Buis (Brandon) His brother Benny whom we all call Rich (Jennifer) and children Jessica Buis, Taylor Andrew (Joe), Kristian Buis. He was a Great Uncle to Ronnie, Zachary, Sarah Livingston and Braiden Buis. And he was a Great, Great Uncle to Colton, Avery and his name sake Zachary Steven Livingston. He is also survived by lot's of Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousins, and folk's that he call's family that we don't even know! Boozie never met a stranger and even though he had a big family his group of "Ole Pal's" and his "Ole Buddies" reaches far and wide. Most all of his Pal's thought he was called Boozie because he "liked to throw back a few" but that is not the case. The truth is in 3rd grade a substitute teacher mispronounced his last name and called him Mr. Boozie, That was it, his Fontanet school Buddies started calling him that and it lasted a lifetime. We are going to miss his laughs, his stories and his pranks as well as the gifts he made and gave so freely. At the end he was very sick and his family would like to thank Bobby Miller for staying with him and taking care of him so he could be at home. And Missy...Booze said that your veterinarian skills came in handy while helping with his wound care! Lol Thank You! Boozie will have a graveside service at 1:00p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Adkins Cemetery at 9501 N. Baldwin Ave. in Fontainet, In. Bill Herb will be officiating. Following the service we will have a Celebration of Life at the FACT building in downtown Fontanet. Please come join his family with your stories and laughs. There will be lot's of good food, family and friends. Most important of all is that Steve had said the sinners prayer and gave his heart to the Lord after calling for the Chaplin this past weekend again. It wasn't the first time but Thank you Jesus it was the last and most important business that he took care of on his own.  2nd Timothy 4:7   " I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith"
