Alfred “Al” Morge, 88, of Terre Haute, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 29, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1937, to Maurice Alfred and Mildred Mae (Landis) Morge.
Al is survived by his son Scott (Rose Marie) and daughter Sonya (Mike) Powell, grandchildren Ryan (Olivia) Morge, Gracie (James) Braun, Abigail Morge, and A.J. Morge. He also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren and his much-loved niece Lisa White and two nephews Nathan and David Hawk.
Al is proceeded in death by his parents and sister Carol Sue Hawk.
Al served in the Rockville, IN unit of the Indiana Army National Guard, reaching the rank of sergeant. He volunteered with the North Terre Haute/Otter Creek Fire Department. Al drove a tractor-trailer for over 40 years. He was awarded for safe driving for many years, including driving several millions of miles accident free.
Per Al’s request, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at a later date, with his parents.
