Asel Travioli Obituary

Asel Dean Travioli, 77, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away January 12, 2023, at Methodist hospital in Indianapolis. He was born August 13, 1945, in Terre Haute Indiana to Asel Otto Travioli and Violet (Orndorff) Travioli. Asel worked for Alcan and Newport Army Ammunition. He served in the United States Navy on an ammunition ship during Vietnam. Asel is survived by his wife of 57 years, Christine (Auman) Travioli; daughter Lynn Elizabeth Pruitt (Mike) and son Stephen Dean Travioli (Cindy O'Donnell) of Spring Hill, Florida; granddaughters Shelby Lynn Mansfield (Michael) and Madison Leigh Schaffer; siblings Maridee Livvix, Harrold (Rusty) Travioli and Serena Foltz; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sharon Holdeman. He was our rock and has always been there for us without hesitation. His advice has shaped all of our lives and he meant the world to us. He will be missed everyday. Cremation has been chosen. A private burial at Highland Lawn Cemetery and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
