Betty Ann was born in Nanty-Glo, Pennsylvania to John and Anna Warmus. Betty Ann made home in St Clair Shores, Michigan and Peoria, Illinois before settling in Terre Haute. In Terre Haute, Betty Ann became very active in social clubs and organizations like Newcomers Club and Women’s Department Club before starting a career in real estate with Williams and Associates, followed by Re/Max and finally starting her own real estate office, Crossroads Realty.
Betty Ann was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brothers John Warmus and Tom Warmus. Betty was also preceded in death by her first husband, Milton Brinza who owned the Beltone Hearing Aid Center in Terre Haute.
Betty Ann is survived by her loving husband Donald Mercer of Brazil, Indiana, her daughter Tammy Brinza of Indianapolis, her son Todd (Tanya) Brinza of Terre Haute and son Troy (Sally) Brinza of San Diego, California. Betty Ann is also survived by her brother Donald Warmus, sisters Kathy Ferth, Barbara Lewis and Debbie Alvaro. Betty is survived by six grandchildren, Dr. Milton Brinza II, Aria Brinza, Lexi Brinza, Hanna Manka, Sterling Manka and Chad Brinza.
Memorial Mass for Betty will be Monday, September 21 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 11 am. Visitation will be from 10am-11am.
