Betty Lou Wolfe

On Thursday, January 16, 2025 Betty Lou Cullison Wolfe, loving wife, mother, and
grandmother went to be with the Lord at the age of 88. Betty was born in Vincennes,
Indiana on November 30, 1936, to Clinton and Stella Cullison. She attended Lincoln
High School where she graduated in 1954. On June 8, 1958, Betty married her loving
husband, Jerry Wolfe. She worked for Paige's Music for a period of time but changed
her career and retired from Ivy Tech Community College.
Betty was blessed with four children, K. Michael (Kelly) Wolfe, Marda Wolfe Harris,
Dennis (Jackie) Wolfe and Kevin (Michelle) Wolfe. Betty had nine grandchildren,
Jessica (Jason) Shouse, Adam (Amanda) Wolfe, Joshua (Harley) Wolfe, Nicholas
Wolfe, Samantha Wolfe, Matthew Wolfe, Lauren Wolfe, Jared (Jessie) Wolfe and Seth
Harris. She also had six great grandchildren, Briley, Brooklyn, Eastin, Sophie, Asa and
Eden.
Betty’s love for her family and the Lord was strong. She spent as much time as
possible with her kids and grandkids. Betty enjoyed crocheting and other hand crafts as
well as reading. She was an avid game and cards player and enjoyed baking cakes and
pies. Betty will be remembered passionately by those that loved her for her open arms
and heart, her ability to give the best advice, her occasional stubbornness and most of
all the love she showed us all.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Wolfe, daughter Marda Wolfe Harris, and
grandson Nicholas Wolfe.
Visitation will be Tuesday January 28th , 2025, from 11 am-1pm at Greiner Funeral
Home, 2005 N 13th St, Terre Haute IN 47804. Funeral will follow with burial at Westlawn
Cemetery.
