Our Mom, Grandma and GiGi has been set free of her pain and is somewhere over the rainbow, now in a happier place. She was preceded in death by her Mom, Irene (Maude) Burkeybyle Fields, Husband, Jim Haney and great grandson, Holden Smith.
Her daughters Jerri (Bill) and Jami (Scott) will miss her quick wit even after dementia took its grasp. Our Mom was a self-sacrificing Mom, who loved, laughed and fought, never expecting anything in return. Mom never had a driver’s license (even though this did not keep her out of the driver’s seat, an unbeknownst illegal fact to us until our 20s) so you may remember seeing her on the city bus system, walking or in Paitson’s where she worked for many years.
She is so cherished by grandchildren: Courtney, Nick, Alex, Schyler and Kelsey Marie. Great grandchildren Gwynn, Allyson, Elijah and Isabella.
We will say goodbye this Saturday, graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. at Grandview Cemetery. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN IN 47804 was entrusted with arrangements. Pastor Larry Speer will be officiating. We will love you forever and ever.
