Bonnie Tincher Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bonnie (May) Tincher on November 11, 2024, at the age of 89. Bonnie was born on March 6, 1935 to William Clayton and Dorothy (Wellman) May.

Bonnie's friends and family will remember her as a skilled quilter, crafter, and cook; famous at family gatherings for her delicious rolls and desserts. She loved to travel and particularly enjoyed Turner bus trips. She would often bring her grandchildren on interstate trips to visit their cousins, teaching them to pass the time with classics like "Guess I'll Go Eat Worms." Her musical talents extended beyond "ones that wiggle and squirm," however, as she was a skilled pianist. She enjoyed a variety of board and card games, but especially when she won.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Phillip (Elsie) and Stanley (Wilma), and two of her four children, Valerie and Greg. She is survived by: her son Jeff (Lisa); daughter Vanessa (Mike Wyrick); daughter-in-law Laurel; five grandchildren, Lauren (David Hackert), Caitilin (Lee Johns), Alex, Clayton (Kayla), and Jefferson; and three great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Jack, and Addison. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will remember her always as their beloved Momaw.

As we gather for the coming holidays, family and friends will miss Bonnie's competitive Bingo playing, delicious peanut butter fudge, and her warm heart.

There will be a celebration of life in the community room on the first floor of Park Place Apartments on Friday, November 15th from 6:00-7:30pm.
