Bradley Dale Rukes

Bradley Dale Rukes, 69, of Rosedale, Indiana, passed away on December 24, 2025, at Hendricks Regional Health.  He was born to Myron and Maurine (Anstead) Rukes, on October 14, 1956.  Bradley was a Carpenter by trade and retired from Local #133. He was a handyman that enjoyed helping anyone he could.  He was an avid Colts fan and enjoyed being with friends.  He loved anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, traveling, and taking care of the birds making sure their feeders were full.  Bradley was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sherri Sullivan.  He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Ruth (Dean) Rukes; sister Pam Williams; nephews and niece Matt Sullivan, Andy Williams, and Kristi Barnaby; and also, several great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends; He is also survived by his beloved pets Sprecher his dog and Kit-Kat his cat.  In honoring Bradley’s wishes, cremation has been chosen, no services are scheduled at this time.  Memorial contributions in Brad’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or other cancer research outlets.  Brad lived a great life and was a great man.  Thank you to Hendricks Regional Health ER and ICU, and to IU Health and Simon Cancer Center for their many years of exceptional care.   A Celebration of Life will be held during Covered Bridge Festival in October.
