Carol Marlene Tryon

Carol Marlene Tryon, 71, of Rosedale, passed away June 22, 2021 in her home.  She was born December 21, 1949 in Terre Haute to Wilbur Wayne Chapman and Doris Arwrinda Chapman. She was a member of the Rosedale Baptist Church. Carol had a passion for helping others. She was the owner and operator of a daycare. She worked as realtor in the 1970s and 1980s. She also worked as an advocate for broken homes in Parke county and surrounding counties.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eddie Tryon (d. 2016).

She is survived by sons; Rick Tryon and James Tryon, daughters; Michele Strohm and Stephanie Ivey, brothers; Gerald Chapman, and Gary Chapman, sisters; Glenda Salyer, and Gloria Jean Brillhart, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her loyal dog, Rowdy.

Services for Carol will be Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 5 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. A visitation is scheduled from 3 pm to service time at the funeral home on Sunday. Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
