Carolyn Jane (Harvey) Lively

Carolyn Jane Lively, 78, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday September 8, 2019 in Martinsville, IN. She was born April 22, 1941 in Longview, TX to Claude Harvey and Mabel Crosby Harvey. She attended Northwest Texas University where she majored in Art. She retired from Columbia House after over 20 years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking and crafts. She was a volunteer at the United Methodist Church as well as a Chess Coach at Sugar Grove Elementary School. Her main enjoyment in life was spending time with her sons. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Harvey. She is survived by two sons; Rob Lively and his wife Collette of Martinsville, IN and Steve Lively and his wife Kathryn of Fort Wayne. She is survived by a sister in-law Carol Harvey of Kenner, LA., and a special cousin Rita. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services are Thursday September 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN. 47804. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
