Carolyn Fae Marks,78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 31, 2021. Carolyn was the wife of the late, Carl Allen Marks, they were married on October 10, 1965 and had 52 years together. She was born February 27, 1943 in Athens, West Virginia to Fred C. and Nettie M. Roles. She attended Athens High School, and after high school went on to graduate from McClain Business College in Bluefield, West Virginia. She worked for J.I.Case, Wabash Valley MRI, and AP & S MRI.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Marks (Vickie), a twin sister, Juanita Mae Thomas of Circleville, Ohio, a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Nebinger (Ron), 3 grandchildren, Alicia, Jeffrey and Chloie, 3 great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Malaki, and Payton, step children and step grandchildren. 3 nephews, Ronald Nebinger, Dale (Shelley), and Matthew Thomas (Whitney), 2 nieces, Regina Holroyd (Duane) and Kelley Belshe. She was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, as well as Sunday Night and Wednesday Night Children’s program. She also sang in the church choir. Carolyn loved helping others.
Services for Carolyn will be Friday, June 4, 2021 at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation is scheduled from 11 am until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Pastor Jim Gibson will officiate.
