Cecil "Jock" Eugene Belleu Jr.

                Cecil Eugene "Jock" Belleu, Jr., age 59, passed Thursday October 12, 2023, at University Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness. Cecil was born in Terre Haute on November 28th, 1963 to parents Cecil E Belleu, Sr and Helen Sebastian (Soules). Cecil is survived by his son Cecil E "Trey" Belleu, III, his daughters Cassandra Dugger and Grace Belleu, and grandchildren Lydia Dugger, Isla Dugger, and John "J.J." Dugger. He is preceded in death by his father Cecil E Belleu Sr.

             He grew up on the north side of Terre Haute near historic Mill Dam. His neighbors were more like family and his friends were like brothers. After graduating from Terre Haute North Vigo High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at Cherry Point Naval Air Base in North Carolina. After returning to Terre Haute, he began work at Double Bee Fence Company where he stayed for 28 years.

            Weekends were for spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed riding his Harley, cooking bean dinners and fish fry dinners outside and especially enjoyed putting on firework displays in his neighborhood.

            Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at Greiner Funeral Home, at 6:00p.m.
