Clarence "Ed" Edward Campbell

Clarence Edward Campbell “Ed”, 92, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on May 1, 2025.  He was born on August 21, 1932, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Clarence Evert Campbell and Claira (Bancheral) Campbell.  Ed enjoyed golfing, tennis, collecting coins, and was a Green Bay Packers fan.  He also enjoyed traveling and going to dinner with family and friends, where he enjoyed picking up the bill.  Ed retired from Duke Energy. He was a veteran that served proudly in the United States Air Force.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Barbara Jean Campbell; and siblings.  Ed is survived by his companion of 25 years Mary Ellen Nelson; son Charles Edward Campbell; his loving family  John and Ronda Nelson and Jonathan and Barbara Phillips; grandchildren Conner Nelson, Dane Nelson, Mylinda Diaz, and Chris Phillips; great grandchildren Tristin Phillips, Damean Aguilar, and Jose Diaz; niece and nephew Roberta Therese Stephenson Boman and Christopher Michael Stephenson.  Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 2:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804.  Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, from Noon until service time.  If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
