Connie Jo Lawrence

On January 14th Connie Jo Lawrence received her promotion to heaven and was ushered into the presence of the Lord.  Connie was born in Paris, Illinois to Elmer and Lucille Mottsinger Bennett.  She graduated from Garfield High School in 1961 and Smart Appearance Beauty Academy in 1963.  Connie owned and operated a beauty salon in North Terre Haute for many years and was a very accomplished artist and interior designer.  She loved people and had the heart of a servant.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Bennett.  Connie is survived by her husband Richard D Lawrence; children Scott Lawrence, Christy (Brad) Knotts and Stacey Figg.  She is also survived by grandchildren Malarie (Andrew) Rossington, Justin Dooley, Carlie (Devan) Figg, Alex (Jaimee) Lawrence, Dylan (Curtni) Knotts, Maddison (Aaron) Barbarick, Jensen Figg and Layla Knotts; great grandchildren Izzy, Parker, Silas, Carter, Mac and Vivian as well as other extended family members and dear friends.  Private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sandcut Community Center (retired fire house) on Sunday, January 30th from 2-4 pm.  Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804 has been entrusted with arrangements.  Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com.
