Dana Ray Hinrichs, 67, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on December 25,2020 due to complications of open heart surgery. Dana was the second of four children born to Geraldine (Ahrens) and Donald Hinrichs in Watseka, Illinois. He was a graduate of Watseka Community High School.

Dana Ray Hinrichs, 67, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on December 25,2020 due to complications of open heart surgery. Dana was the second of four children born to Geraldine (Ahrens) and Donald Hinrichs in Watseka, Illinois. He was a graduate of Watseka Community High School. 
Dana is survived by his wife of 46 years, Deborah (Fordyce) of Terre Haute; daughter Rachel Hinrichs Buckles and husband Rob; daughter Natalie Hinrichs Overton and husband Chad; and grandchildren Ashton, Lily, Jackson, and Michael.
Dana worked for Schwans as a manager for over 20 years and then became a local business owner of The Light Choice for the past 18 years. 
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. 
Dana’s biggest passion was 1970 purple Buick GS.  he frequently attended car shows and restoring his Buick   His other hobbies included golfing, his two dogs Milo and Murphy, spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren.  There will be no services per his request.
