Danny Robert Reynolds

Danny Robert Reynolds, 71, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on February 23, 2025.  He was born in Harrisburg, Illinois, to Hubert Reynolds and Ruth (Pickering) Reynolds on March 18, 1953. He was a long time Meteorologist with WTWO, known as “Doppler Dan” or “Dop.” Dan began his career at WTWO in May of 1993. At that time, he took over as a weekend meteorologist and remained in that role for his entire career of nearly 32 years. Dan was loyal to the viewers, the TV station, and the weather team. Dan was a passionate person who loved his career. To know Dan was to love him. His sense of humor and laugh lit up every room he walked into. Although his sense of humor was not often seen on air to his viewers, he could always be counted on for a great joke. He always knew how to lighten the mood. Dan was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his sister Judy Bradley (Richard); and nieces Kerry Werner (Alan) and Connie Ledbetter, all of Illinois.  In honoring Dan’s wishes, cremation has been chosen.  There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
