David John Daley

David John Daley, born on May 10, 1956, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on October 10, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was the beloved son of David and Vesta Daley and was preceded in death by his father and an infant daughter.

David is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Susie Daley, who stood by his side through all of life's joys and challenges. He was a proud father to his two sons, Mike Daley (Lindsay) and Matt Daley, and a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren: Luke (Olyvia), Dalton (Lexi), Hunter (Lauren), Maddie (Matthew), and Caiden Daley. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Bronsyn and Maisyn, who brought immense joy to his life.

David is also survived by his siblings, Jeri (Richard) and Soni (William), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many dear friends who will miss his presence dearly.

Having dedicated nearly 40 years of his life to Taghleaf, David was known for his unwavering work ethic and determination. Outside of work, he found happiness in fishing, racing, and enjoying a cold Miller Lite. Above all, David was a family man—honest, loving, and caring, with a playful spirit that brought joy to those around him.

Please join us in celebrating the life of this remarkable man. Funeral service will be at 6:00p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 in Greiner Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 4:00p.m. until service time.  We will gather to honor his memory and share stories of his life. Following the service we will be having desserts and coffee at the Daley residence. 

David will be forever missed but always remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
