David Halter

David Halter, 64, of Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday November 14, 2019 in his residence. David was born in Terre Haute on February 15, 1956 to Daniel Halter and Betty Lumsdon Halter.
David was retired from Conway Control Express as a trucking manager. He was a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and Indiana State University. He was a member of the Murdock Racing Club and enjoyed cars and racing.
David was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Nichole "Nikki" Halter, who passed away in 2014. He is survived by one son, Josh Halter (Aubry Bright) of Port Angeles, WA. He is survived by two grandchildren, Colton Bruner and Rockwell Bright; and several cousins.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests that donations be made to the Murdock Racing Club in honor of David; envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at:
